With major travel links within a stone?s throw of the resort?s gates, getting to and from The Grove couldn?t be simpler. The Grove?s location close to the M25 allows those travelling by car to get around with ease while Watford Tube Station provides easy access to the centre of London; in fact, Kings Cross Station is only 35 minutes away. Accommodation

The Grove offers some of the finest accommodation a golfer could wish for in and around London. Guests can choose from a selection of room types, from the suites in the exquisite Mansion House perfect for couples breaks, to one of the 191 spacious rooms in the West Wing, perfect for families. The Mansion House provides a boutique hotel atmosphere, where 26 lavish guestrooms are on offer. The rooms are equipped with all the modern amenities expected from a hotel of this standard, however The Grove goes one step further in offering its guests designer toiletries, high-speed internet, a bose ipod or MP3 player and a 42-inch plasma television with satellite and on-demand programmes and movies.

The Glasshouse is buffet-style restaurant where guests can enjoy watching chefs prepare their meals in front of them. The alternative, and extremely popular, choice is The Stables restaurant which serves hearty gourmet pub-style dishes such as steaks and home-made pies perfect after finishing a round of golf. The hotel also puts on various private events for large groups such as barbecues, picnics and feasts in the Potting Shed, as well as?offering ?Colette?s Master Classes? with Head Chef Russell Bateman.

YGT?s Favourite thing about The Grove

While the facilities and golf course was superb, we thought the welcome platter of fresh fruit picked from the Walled Garden in the rooms was a nice touch.
